1. About Us
Same Day Safety Certificates is a Queensland Authorised Inspection Station (AIS Licence #12673), operating a mobile safety certificate inspection service across Brisbane and South-East QLD. By booking or using our website, you agree to these terms.
2. Booking & Appointments
Bookings can be made online or by calling (07) 3132 2383. We operate 8am–8pm, 7 days a week. Same-day bookings are offered where availability permits and are not guaranteed. You're responsible for ensuring the vehicle is accessible at the agreed address and time.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We request at least 2 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less notice may incur a fee to cover travel and time.
4. The Inspection
All inspections are carried out by a licensed AIS inspector in accordance with QLD Department of Transport criteria under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995. The inspection assesses the vehicle's compliance at the time of inspection only — it is not a mechanical assessment or guarantee of future reliability.
5. Safety Certificate Issuance
A safety certificate is only issued where a vehicle meets all applicable QLD DoT safety standards at the time of inspection. The inspector's decision is final. If a vehicle doesn't pass, a written report is provided. Re-inspection fees apply for subsequent inspections.

6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the inspection. We are not liable for consequential losses including failed sales, vehicle relocation costs or registration delays. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
7. Privacy
We collect personal information only as necessary to provide inspection services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except as required to fulfil your booking or by law.
8. Vehicle Condition
You warrant that you are the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's authority. Our inspector may decline an inspection where a vehicle presents a safety risk.
